Building Updates

June, 2008

The concrete was poured just before our Construction Ceremony in May.  The forms came down a week later.  All the under-slab services are now in and the slab area is being prepared for the concrete pour.  The water-proofing of the concrete walls has been completed so that the backfill around the building can be begin.  The surveyors are currently looking at a location for the portables and the preschool playground.

School Site Plans Unanimously approved by city council

On February 6, 2007 the schools development site plans were presented to city council for approval.  The plans were met with a great deal of enthusiasm and were unanimously approved.  The facilities committee will now submit our building permits to the City of Kelowna, and once granted, we will immediately break ground and begin the construction process.
