Character Counts Programme
At Aberdeen Hall Character Education is an important component of the curriculum. The Character Counts program teaches children the six pillars of character which include; Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship. Students participate in a series of lessons and activities that teach, encourage and reinforce the characteristics of each pillar. Posters, charts, stories, and role play are used to engage the students and make the lessons come alive in the classroom.
“The standards of conduct that arise out of those values constitute the ground rules of ethics, and therefore of ethical decision-making.”
