Exams for Grades 5-9

Monday, June 14, 2010 @ 1:00pm to 2:30pm, English Part A (Essay)
Tuesday, June 15, 2010 @ 9:00am to 10:30am, Mathematics. 1:00pm to 2:30pm, Social Studies.
Wednesday, June 16, 2010 @ 9:00am to 10:30am Science, 1:00pm – 2:30pm English B (Short Answer)
Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 9:00am to 10:30pm, French.
At this point students have been given review materials for their core academic classes. Teachers have commenced with review and study skills instruction.

Purpose of school exams

Our exams are both formative and summative , they allow us to gauge the student’s mastery of the subject and help us design future instruction. Exams also provide a platform for instructors to teach students study strategies and test taking skills that will help them excel not only on exams, but in their future endeavours.
