International Students
We welcome a small number of international students into our community each year. We accept applications directly from interested families and work with reputable agents to help ensure successful placements into our programme.
Application for Admission
Application for admission to Aberdeen Hall Preparatory School may be made by completing the International Application for Admission Form and submitting the Application fee.

Application Fee
$200 per new K- 12 student. This fee is a one-time, non refundable fee, which covers the application processing and assessment activities.
Evaluation Process
Payment of the Application Fee does not guarantee admission to the school. Admission is based on the student’s previous school records and teacher/Head of school references or recommendations.
Evaluation Criteria
Evaluation criteria includes, but are not limited to:
- Will the candidate benefit from and contribute to our school?
- Applicant’s previous school records.
- Teacher/Head of School references or recommendations.
- Level of English

This is done on an individual basis.

Activity Fee
This fee covers extra- curricular clubs and extraordinary field trips. Students will be expected to provide their chosen band instruments.
English as a Second Language
International students will be assessed in English and will be provided with additional support if required. The cost of this support will depend on the individual needs of the student and will be billed accordingly.
Acceptance of Student
Upon acceptance, a non-refundable Registration Fee of $1,000 per K-12 student this deposit will be held until the student leaves the school.
Withdrawals and Dismissals
Students are enrolled for the period agreed in the contract with the parents and guardians responsible for payment of the agreed tuition fees. No portion of fees will be refunded and all unpaid balances are due immediately in the event of the student’s absence, withdrawal or dismissal from the school. Dismissals are in accordance with the school’s determined discipline policy.
Inclusive Tuition
Tuition fees include costs associated with regular field trips, textbook rentals, and a copy of the yearbook.
Accommodation
The school has a number of families interested in accommodating international students in a home stay programme.
