| Course Outline | The aim of Health and Career Education is to provide students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to be informed decision makers and to make healthy and safe choices. HACE is designed to help students maintain, reinforce and develop skills, attitudes and behaviours that can enhance their personal well-being throughout their lives and prepare them to deal with a world of complex, ongoing change. The curriculum recognizes the inter-related areas of intellectual development, human and social development and career development in creating healthy and active educated citizens.

Quizzes & Tests: 10% Assignments (Includes Homework): 20% Projects/Presentations: 20% Class Participation & Attitude: 50% |
| Fieldtrips | Guest speakers & field trips relevant to topics of study will be announced according to proposed schedule |
